Connect VS Code (Copilot agent mode)

Add CoinGraph as an MCP server for GitHub Copilot agent mode.

  1. Add the server

    Run MCP: Add Server from the command palette and choose HTTP, or create .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace:

  2. The config

  3. Start it

    Choose Start above the server entry, then open Copilot Chat in Agent mode; the CoinGraph tools appear in the tools picker.

Note

MCP calls are free during the preview. The same tools are on the REST API, where paid calls use x402: pricing. Everything about the server (transport, tools, prompts) is on Connect and Tools.
