The product
What is Coingraph?
Coingraph publishes analysis reports on individual cryptocurrencies. Each report measures how far a coin sits below its all-time high, rates its survival from 0 to 100 with every input disclosed, and — in the paid section — explains what drove the decline and what a recovery would require. The model is a rating agency, not a tipsheet: opinions derived from disclosed data, never predictions.
How is the survival rating calculated?
The score starts at 100 and four measured factors deduct from it: price decline from the all-time high, decay in trading volume, erosion of market cap, and time spent below the peak. Every deduction is itemised on the coin page. Scores of 75 and above rate Active, 50–74 Weakening, 20–49 Distressed, below 20 Dormant. The full method is public on the methodology page.
Is this financial advice?
No. A Coingraph rating is an opinion about what disclosed data shows — like a credit rating, it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold, and not a prediction about any price. Every input behind every rating is published so you can reach your own conclusion, including one that disagrees with ours.
Why do some coins have no report?
Below a minimum market cap, exchange coverage gets too thin to compute numbers we would stand behind. Rather than publish a confident-looking rating built on noise, those pages say the coin is outside coverage.
Will Coingraph tell me what to buy?
Never. The reports describe what a coin’s own data shows and disclose every input. What to do about it is yours — that division of labour is deliberate, and it is written into the product.
The data
Where does the data come from?
Market data — prices, volume, market cap, all-time highs — comes from CoinGecko. Wallet balances are read through Alchemy at the moment you scan and are never stored. Coingraph holds roughly two years of daily prices per coin.
What if a coin peaked before your price history begins?
The report says so, plainly. The all-time high is quoted from the market data provider, and the page states that the chart cannot show that peak rather than quietly comparing against a lower one. A disclosed limitation is the difference between a caveat and an error.
How fresh are the numbers?
Market-wide tables refresh on a 15-minute cycle; individual coin pages refresh their price data every few minutes when visited. Every page shows values from the same disclosed sources — there is no private feed.
Wallets
What does connecting a wallet actually do?
Two things: it lets the scan read your balances across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism so every position gets a rating, and it becomes the key your purchases attach to, so a pass follows you to any device. Connecting is a signature, not a transaction — it costs nothing, moves nothing, and grants no access to your funds.
Do you store my holdings?
No. Balances are read live at scan time and shown to you; they are not saved. What is stored against your wallet address is your entitlement — whether you hold a pass — and your purchase records.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, from your account page while connected — it unlinks your orders and deletes your entitlements. The deletion applies to the wallet in the session, never to an address typed into a request.
Do I need a wallet to read reports?
No. Every rating and every free report reads without one. A wallet is needed for the scan and to buy a pass — payment is in crypto, so a wallet is already part of that flow.
Paying
What does a pass cost?
A year pass and a lifetime pass, each a single payment with founding-seat pricing while seats remain — the live counters are on the pricing page. Everything else on the site is free.
Why can’t I pay monthly?
No blockchain lets a merchant pull money from a wallet, so crypto cannot auto-renew. Coingraph sells passes instead: pay once, the pass runs its term and ends. Nothing is on file and nothing recurs — we consider that a feature, not a workaround.
Which assets can I pay with?
Payment runs through CoinGate, which accepts USDC and other major assets. You pay an invoice from any wallet or exchange account; the pass lands on the wallet you connected.
What happens when my year pass ends?
Nothing is charged and nothing is lost except the paid reports: every free feature keeps working, and your account and history stay attached to your wallet. Buy another pass whenever you want the written analysis back.
What is your refund policy?
The binding version lives in the terms of service — read it there rather than in a summary. If something went wrong with a payment, write to support@coingraph.ai with the wallet address you paid from.
The fastest answer is a report.
Most questions about how Coingraph works are answered by reading one coin’s page — pick one you own.
