About Canopy
The reference facts, then what the numbers say.
canopynetwork.org ↗Explorer ↗@cnpynetwork ↗GitHub ↗API ID: canopyInfrastructureSmart Contract PlatformBNB Chain EcosystemLayer 1 (L1)
Canopy (CNPY) is Web3 infrastructure built for an era in which AI is rapidly accelerating software development. Its central premise is straightforward: AI has transformed how quickly software can be created, but blockchain infrastructure has failed to evolve at the same pace. Developers can now prototype, iterate, and launch products faster than ever. In Web3, however, the underlying infrastructure continues to slow them down. Smart contracts are immutable and expensive to migrate. Rollups can restrict programming languages and shift value away from application teams. Legacy Layer 1 networks rely on codebases and development workflows created before modern AI tools, while every new blockchain must still bootstrap security, liquidity, and users from scratch. Canopy addresses these challenges with a full-stack platform for launching sovereign blockchains—essentially, the Replit of Web3.
Description via CoinGecko
What happened to Canopy
Canopy reached $0.3028 2 days ago. It now trades at $0.1601 — a decline of 47.1% from that peak. $1,000 bought at the high would be worth $528.79 today.
Returning to the previous high from here would take a gain of 1.9x. That figure is arithmetic, not a forecast: it is simply the peak divided by the current price.
Within the 2 days of daily prices held for CNPY, the range runs from $0.1601 to $0.2492, and the all-time high falls inside that window — so the chart on this page shows the full decline.
How CNPY is rated
Canopy scores 65 out of 100, which places it in the Active band — the inputs show a coin still trading with depth and holding much of its value. A higher score means a healthier reading. The score starts at 100 and each measured factor deducts from it.
The deductions for CNPY are: price decline, 31 points (down 47.1% from its all-time high of $0.3028); market cap erosion, 4 points (market cap down 20% from $13.47M).
Data confidence for this rating is low. Less than two months of price history. Volume data is sparse or missing. A rating is only as good as what it is computed from, so the limits are stated rather than smoothed over.
Is CNPY moving on its own?
From its lowest close in the 2 days held — $0.1601 — CNPY has gained 0.0%, a 1.0x move off that floor. CoinGraph reads this as still falling.
CNPY market position
CNPY has a market capitalisation of $10.75M, ranking 1183 by size, on 24-hour trading volume of $9.77M.
Daily turnover — volume as a share of market cap — is 90.9%. Turnover is what tells you whether a price is real: a coin can hold a large nominal valuation while almost nothing changes hands, and a price set by very few trades is one that moves sharply when anyone sizeable arrives.
88.0% of CNPY's maximum supply has not yet entered circulation. Tokens still to be issued are future sell-side supply, which is a headwind the price chart alone does not show.
Canopy — common questions
Is Canopy still active?
CoinGraph rates Canopy (CNPY) 65 out of 100 today — Active, meaning the Active band — the inputs show a coin still trading with depth and holding much of its value. The rating is derived from four disclosed inputs — price decline from the all-time high, volume decay, market cap erosion and time below peak — and is an opinion about what the data shows, not a prediction. The full breakdown is on this page.
How far is Canopy from its all-time high?
Canopy (CNPY) is 47.1% below its all-time high of $0.3028, trading at $0.1601.
What would $1,000 of Canopy bought at the peak be worth now?
$1,000 of CNPY bought at its all-time high would be worth about $528.79 today, a decline of 47.1%.
How much would CNPY need to rise to break even?
CNPY would need to gain 1.9x from $0.1601 to return to its all-time high of $0.3028.
What is Canopy's survival rating?
CoinGraph rates Canopy 65 out of 100, in the Active band — the inputs show a coin still trading with depth and holding much of its value. The rating is derived from price decline, volume decay, market cap erosion and time below peak, and every deduction is shown on this page. Higher is healthier.
What is Canopy's price prediction?
CoinGraph does not publish price predictions — for CNPY or any coin. What the data shows instead: CNPY trades at $0.1601, 47.1% below its all-time high, and would need to gain 1.9x to return there — arithmetic, not a forecast. CoinGraph's survival rating for Canopy is 65/100 (Active), derived from disclosed inputs.
Will Canopy recover to its all-time high?
Nobody can know, and CoinGraph does not predict. The measurable part: CNPY needs a 1.9x gain from $0.1601 to reach $0.3028 again. Right now its recovery signal reads still falling, and it is not comparable to the wider market on the data held over the last 30 days — a coin climbing on its own demand is a different situation from one drifting with the market.
Is Canopy a good investment?
CoinGraph does not give investment advice or recommendations. It publishes a survival rating — Canopy scores 65/100 (Active) — derived from price decline, volume decay, market cap erosion and time below peak, with every deduction shown. That is an opinion about what the data shows, for you to weigh against your own situation.
Why is Canopy down today?
CNPY has moved -27.8% in the last 24 hours. CoinGraph reads market data rather than headlines, and the data says: over 30 days it is —, and it is not comparable to the wider market on the data held. A single day's move means little on its own unless volume and the longer trend confirm it — both are itemised on this page.
Is Canopy recovering?
CNPY is 0.0% above its lowest close in the 2 days of data held, which CoinGraph reads as still falling. It is not comparable to the wider market on the data held over the last 30 days.
Everything else on this page is the data. The report is the analysis — what drove the decline, the warning signs in this coin’s numbers, and what a recovery would require.
